Billard's Trucking is a family owned and operated crane and transport company based out of Donovan's Industrial Park in Newfoundland and Labrador. For more than eight decades Billard's Trucking has had a strong presence in Newfoundland as the business was passed through four generations of family members.

From 1932 to today, Billard's trucking has changed with the times and has always stayed on top of the industry due to its hard working family commitment.

When Jim Billard decided to go into business eight decades ago, he ran one of the many trucking stands on Water Street. It was located at Queen's Wharf, where the bulk of work consisted of loading and unloading foreign ships. In the late 1940's Norm Billard took over and moved the office and warehouse to Bannerman Street. Work at that time consisted of loading and unloading ships and train cars.

Things remained much the same when Bill Sr. Came onboard with Billard's trucking. Most of the work involved was done by hand, usually just two people to a truck, unloading and loading ships then transferring the good to the railway terminal. Billard's past is indelibly intertwined with Newfoundland's history.

Faced with technological advances, and an industry that was becoming more automated and less dependent on manual labour, Billard's went through a huge modernization. What started at the St. John's waterfront, Billard's trucks can now be seen anywhere in Newfoundland.

The Billard's Trucking of today, now operated by Bill Jr. and Brian Billard, maintains a fleet of trucks equipped to do any job in today's industry. From heavy lifts to transporting and storing goods, Billard's Trucking has been the safe, dependable choice for over 81 years.
